Overview

Tourist Court Motel offers spacious, comfortable, recently re-decorated units which will give you a pleasant stay.

Accommodation consists of 9 motel units that are serviced daily. 4 studio, sleep 1-3; 4x1 bedroom, sleep 2-4 and 1x2 bedroom, sleeps 7. Kitchen facilities, microwave, ensuite with shower, hair dryer, heater, double and queen size beds, electric blankets, 9-channel Sky Digital TV, flat screen tv's with USB & HDMI ports, DVD, wireless broadband internet, guest laundry, barbecue, spa and trampoline. Cot, highchair, iron and ironing board available. Cooked/continental breakfast available served to unit.

Tariff: from $95-$150; extra person $20, extra children up to $15 and seasonal rates apply. All major credit cards and Eftpos accepted. Tourist Court Motel hosts are Gladys & Kelvin.

Tourist Court Motel is the first motel on the left entering Landing Road from Whakatane river bridge. It is located 2km from Whakatane's CBD and is a 14 minute drive to Whakatane airport.

Whakatane is the major service and administrative centre in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. It is known for its high sunshine hours. White Island, a live volcano lies about 48 kilometres north of Whakatane.

    "Room good sized and clean" This was given a review of 3 stars (Average)

    We only stayed a night so not able to do a good review. The motel was easy to find from the Hwy from Taupo. The room was good sized and clean. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

    "Good spacious accommodation Friendly owners" This was given a review of 4 stars (Good)

    Good clean spacious accommodation with well equipped kitchen. Owners very friendly. Quite close to shops and a good river walk into the town Road can be noisy at peak times. Enjoyed our stay.

Since your visit we have had units 1 & 9 double-glazed to block out the noise. (You stayed in unit 9 so you would notice the improvement).
