Rooms are classic yet contemporary, have been recently renovated, and come with all the services you'd expect to find in a hotel of 3 star plus Qualmark standard. Bay Plaza Hotel is just a short drive to the airport, South Island ferry terminals and the railway station.
All 76 of our clean and smart hotel rooms are spacious and boast some of the best views in the city. Classic yet contemporary, the recently renovated rooms in relaxing palettes stylishly combine sleekly modern fittings and furnishings with the most interesting of the hotel's original architectural features. You'll love the stunning vistas from every room on our 11 floors. Look out to Wellington city with its pretty harbour surrounded by hills, or up to Mt Victoria with its pine forest and quaint streets of historic wooden homes below.
We have 57 standard hotel rooms with separate shower and toilet, and 19 standard hotel rooms with shower over bath and toilet. Our room configurations are 46 standard twin rooms (with one queen and one single bed), 29 standard double rooms (with one queen bed) and one studio suite (with one double bed). Room facilities include: SKY TV, flat rate broadband wireless internet access, work desk, mini-bar, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, clock radio.
