Overview
Base Wellington is a hostel that is located on Courtenay Place in central Wellington. It has 55 guestrooms that offer 4 bed dormitories, 6 bed dormitories, Sanctuary dorm (females only) and private double rooms with ensuite.
The 4 bed dormitories come with a shared bathroom, separate toilet, bed linen, heating and wireless internet access. 6 bed dormitories come with shared bathroom, bed linen, heating and lockers. The Sanctuary dorm is exclusive to females, sleeps up to 6 people and has bed linen, heating, hair dryer and you receive a towel and shampoo package upon check-in. Private rooms area available as twin or doubles and have private ensuite, bed linen, TV, heating, lockers and come with a towel and soap package.
Other features include a 24 hour reception, travel desk, kitchen, laundry, blackout drapes/curtains, TV room, bar, wireless internet access, chill out areas, onsite parking and continental breakfasts are available.
Base Wellington is located centrally near transport, cafes, bars and local attractions. It is close to Waitangi Park, Cuba Street Mall and the Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa is only a few minutes away.
