Loved being so close to beach and shopping centre. Room was perfect for what we wanted with queen bed, bunks, kitchen and spa bath.
The staff were helpful. Entrance lighting was not working, difficult to find entrance from road. The room compact and smelled of bleach. Lack of sound insulation between rooms and corridor, made sleep very difficult. Will consider other options next time.
I was looking for a relaxing night in a room with a spa bath after an intense week, and certainly had a wonderful chill out in the spa bath. The bathroom is nicely appointed, the room although small, was comfortable and the double glazed windows kept out any noise from the nearby airport. So it was a pleasure to be able to watch planes taking off and landing, as well as the surfers on Lyall Bay. Unfortunately however, there were some very very loud and obnoxious folk in the room next door, who were partying from 11pm to 3am, and when I went to look for security or Motel Management, I could find nobody, in person or at the end of the phone! I decided it wasn't worth wasting police time, so watched a couple of movies and then got a couple of hours sleep in before I had to vacate the room. Would consider going back if I knew I didn't need a perfect nights sleep, just for the views and the bath!
