Overview

Winner of 2011 Peoples Choice award 'Best Nationwide Motel'. 151 on London Motel is a Qualmark 4-star plus Motel in Wanganui.

It is located on State Highway 3 from New Plymouth to Palmerston North. It consists of 26 modern sound-proofed and newly air conditioned units which are serviced daily, 12 studio suites, 3 overnighter suites, 1x1brm honeymoon/executive suite, 6x1brm spa suites and 4x2brm family units. It is within 500m of Splash centre, Jubilee and Springvale Stadium and 400m to supermarkets and fast food outlets.

Wanganui is located on the banks of the Whanganui River and is around 200km from Wellington. The Royal Wanganui Opera House is New Zealand's last and only Victorian theatre and is known for hosting operas, concerts and plays. The Sarjeant Art Gallery hosts many Maori and national artworks and is a Category I Historic Place.

    The studio room we stayed in was described as compact, which it was. Quite small but a great option for the price. Although small it had every comfort and at a high standard. Situated in a great area. Would definitely stay here again.

    Arrived on Xmas Day after a 6hr drive and was met with very friendly reception.

    Our room was very clean and modern. Bathrooms a great size and all the mod cons. Quiet location and would stay again.

    Very clean and modern. Friendly service. Had everthing we needed. Nice and quiet. Opposite end of Victoria Street to majority of cafes but not far by car. Walking distance to 3 supermarkets and a couple of cafes.
