Short distance to Caroline Bay, Maori Park Swimming Pool, shops, restaurants, RSA, Seven Oaks, golf courses and other sports facilities (all within approx 800m).     Bernadette is a great host. Clean and spacious. Plus for me the Highfield Golf course is nice and close.

    Easy to find. Nice and tidy apartments. Off main street so nice and quiet. Friendly owners. Only stayed 1 night, but would stay there again.

    "Quiet and convenient motel" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

    We found the white star a good place to stay. It was off the main road and therefore quiet. We enjoyed the park outlook with the sun streaming in the motel in the afternoons. It was close to shops and within easy walking distance of the city centre and the beach. The owners were very friendly and we would be happy to stay there again.

    "A nice place to stay." This was given a review of 4 stars (Good)

    We (me,23 and mom & Dad) stayed here for the last night of our trip before leave from Christchurch.

    The place was nice and quiet. The kitchen was good and the price is good too considering for two bedroom.

    We left at 7am for our 11am flight and everything is just in time.

    So Timaru is another destination before leaving from CHC coz' at that time, Ashburton motels were all full.
