Te Kaha Holiday Park, Motels & Cafe is unique for many reasons, it offers impressive views of New Zealand's active marine volcano, White Island, and 300 metres from your arrival to the property and you are standing on the white, sandy shores of School House Bay.
Guests can choose to stay in one of the 100 tent sites, 62 power sites, 4 park motel units, 4 kitchen cabins or the backpacker accommodation. Park Motel is fully serviced with units containing 1 queen size and single bed. Kitchen Cabins and Backpackers each sleep up to 6 per room and guests need to bring their own bedding or it is available for hire.
Park amenities include: communal kitchen and fridge, toilet/shower facilities, laundry, playground, trampoline. Onsite 7 day general store, cafe , takeaway food, smokehouse. Kayak and bike hire is available. There are boat launch facilities and the beach is a mere 300 metres.
