Overview
Tauranga Tourist Park is a Qualmark 3-star plus Holiday Park in Tauranga. The campervan and motor home park is situated in a sheltered park-like harbourside location.
The holiday park has large individual all-weather sites, limited 10m plus sites and cyclist sites. Standard one room cabins, sleep 1-2, with fridge, basic utensils, TV, pillows, own linen or linen for hire. Ensuite cabin, sleep 1-3, double sized bed and single bed, self-contained with TV, fridge, microwave, basic utensils, linen and carpark available.
Park amenities include communal kitchen, library, TV lounge, laundry, toilet/shower, recycling station, Wi-Fi/internet kiosk, security gate, pets by prior arrangement and Dump station. Sorry, no group bookings, pool or playground. Bus stop at gate.
Tariff: powered site 1 person $24, 2 persons $30, extra adult $12, child under 13yrs $6; non-powered site 1 person $20, 2 persons $25, extra person $12, child under 13yrs $6; cyclist site $12/each; ensuite cabin $76; standard 1-room cabin $50. Tauranga Tourist Park is 4km from Tauranga city centre and only minutes to hospital, Citizen's Club (all within approx 1km). Service station shop 50m and nearest supermarket is a 15min walk. Tauranga is located in the Bay of Plenty and is a top holiday destination in New Zealand. It is a thriving port city with the country's biggest export port.
