Jim and Emily were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived we knew we had booked the right place to stay! Super handy to the city and Mt Maunganui is only a few minutes drive away. Clean and comfortable and the pool is a lovely bonus. We will definitely stay at the Cobblestone on future visits to Tauranga and have already recommended the place to others.

This motel is very handy to city and harbour bridge to Mount and beaches. The units are clean and tidy and have everything that you need for an overnight stay. We stayed in the studios at the rear of the property and these are very quiet. The decor is a little tired and dull and does need some updating but it was comfortable and warm and suited our needs. The new owner is very friendly and helpful. We certainly will be coming again.

Our third stay confirmed Cobblestone Court as our motel of preference in Tauranga. The staff are friendly, the units are well-maintained and really nicely appointed, and the facilities are great. The pool was a great draw-card for the kids. One does, of course, have to balance the convenience of being right on Chapel St with the obvious traffic noise, but it wasn't as bad as we get at home sometimes. Our only challenge was connecting to the free WiFi, but we didn't manage to figure out if that was us or the Zenbu service.

The Cobblestone is well-located for an event at the Bereta, and has good waterside walks nearby, to the port and up the estuary. Jaggers Restaurant just over the bridge.
Our unit was comfortable (great mattress on the bed) with a spacious kitchen. It worked well for three of us, with a separate twin bedroom plus a Q bed in living area.
We're glad you enjoyed your stay at Cobblestone Court Motel. We certainly enjoyed having all the members from the Ornithological Society staying with us. Great group !
I stayed here three nights with my mother in a one bedroom unit so that we could technically have a room each. The kitchen was well equipped, and the unit was roomy. There were no electric blankets on the beds which surprised me, but the unit was warm and the heater supplied was excellent so it wasn't an issue. The wireless internet had a very poor signal but it was sufficient for checking emails etc. The hot water took a very long time to get to our unit, but once we got used to running the water for five minutes before needing it, this was ok too - but their water rates must be quite high??!! The host was very friendly and accommodating. Another note would be that on their website it states that there are discounts for Gold Card holders, but when I queried this (my Mum is a Gold Card holder) he said it was only for stays during the week, although we did stay Thursday to Saturday. I think this should be stated on the website or removed altogether to ensure there is no confusion or disappointment. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

Will not be staying here again
We are disappointed that this Guest will not be staying with us again. Unfortunately without some details on what we might have done to improve their stay it is difficult to address any issues. We always welcome feedback so that we can work to make positive improvements to our service.
We found our stay at Cobbleston most enjoyable and comfortable. There was absolutely nothing we could fault

We stayed for 3 nights over Easter. The unit was clean, tidy and well set out. The bed was comfortable and we had a good relaxing time. A quiet unit with no road noise. The chocolate bunny on Easer Sunday was an added bonus.

Stayed two nights here in March. Very clean, large room with kitchen facilities. We had a great sleep, after lots of sightseeing. Bed very comfy, manager very helpful. Close to town and Mount Maunganui. Definitely recommended.
Was an excellent stay, very clean and tidy and everything you need was there, unfortunatley spoilt a little by being told that we had to change from a 1 bedroom to a studio, however, once that was sorted and we got out one bedroom, all went very well. Very pleasant management and would wish you luck in your new ventrue and all the best for the new owners.
The room we had was very clean, quiet and tidy. it had very comfortable bed and facilities. The owners were very friendly. We will be staying at Cobblestone Court again and would happily recommend it to other people, very good value for money
Comfortable but much too hot. Double-glazed windows did cut down the traffic noise but unit was airless and too hot as a result. Fan supplied was too noisy to sleep. Probably very good in winter!!!

The positive was that we are a couple and were upgraded to a very nicely appointed 3 bedroom unit with a large living area (no 1). Everything was clean and tidy.
The negative was that it was on the street front of a busy road. I suggest that when you book that you ask not to be on the street front if you are a light sleeper like myself. The night was hot and it was too noisy to open the windows
