Overview

Asure Macy's Motor Inn is a perfect choice for your holiday or business based accommodation. If you're here for pleasure, there are several fun hotel amenities including an outdoor pool and barbecue area. However, if you're here for business they have ample facilities for conferences and general business needs. There is a handy, complimentary shuttle to the central CBD to round off the stunning Qualmark 4-star Motel.

There are a few different types of accommodation on offer in the 19 self-contained units which are serviced daily: 10 studio units (sleep 1-2), 9x1 bedroom units (sleep 2-4) and 2 units with access facilities. For larger groups or a family, there is also a 1 bedroom unit with an interconnecting door.

The general complex was heavily upgraded in 2007 with new paint and extra soundproofing installed to ensure a good night of rest. All units come with a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, shower, double spa bath in studio unit, single spa bath in 1 bedroom units. Each unit also has a hair dryer, queen/king size beds, phone, free wireless internet access, 5-channel Sky TV with 32" LCD flat-screen, Freeview, DVD, electric blankets and heating. Should you be travelling with youngsters, there is a cot available on request.

Amenities include a cooked/continental breakfast, room service (morning/afternoon tea, lunch or supper snacks), outdoor swimming pool, barbecue area, laundry facilities and off-street parking. Conference facilities and equipment for up to 50 delegates and a fax are also available to guests. Member MANZ.

    WE SELECTED THE MINI-SUITE AS WE WERE ONLY STAYING THE SINGLE NIGHT. UNIT 3a WAS ALLOCATED WHICH HAS AN ADJOINING DOOR FROM

    UNIT 3 TO TAKE A BIGGER FAMILY. THERE WAS NO SOUND PROOFING BETWEEN AND WE ARE SURE THAT THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR COULD HEAR OUR TV AS WE COULD HEAR THEIR CHILDREN PLAYING NEXT DOOR BUT IT DID NOT GO ON FOR TOO LONG, SO SUGGEST IF YOU WANTED PEACE & QUITE TO ASK FOR AN UPGRADE

    Stay again for one night, yet again the same ecellent service, and the unit was it tidy, clean state, In fact the unit now has been upgraded with a new flat screen TV , DVD Player and Microwave, real value for money.

    I would recomend this to anyone.

    It is a nice Motel and I had a great time with my husband there. People there are sweet, kind and wonderful. We were so touched.

    It is for sure for us to book Asure Macy's Motor again if we come and visit Tauranga next time.

    Lovely hosts, enjoyed a spa bath on both nights. I took advantage of "horny bull" meal, charging back to the room, on Athol's (hotelier) suggestion. Great attention to detail, mints by the bed, extra towels and bath lotions for spa bath, teas coffees and biscuits replaced. Definitely Recommend.
