The facilities were clean and adequate. The iron in the Laundry leaked terribly making the shirt I was attempting to iron unwearable until I dried it out with a heater. Internet kiosk was very expensive and I had to go to the office just before it shut to get them to call their remote support person to get the kiosk in the Kitchen/TV area working.
The daily rate advertised on the Jasons website was less than the Holiday Park expected to receive. To their credit they accepted this lesser price without a murmur, but this is not an OK situation. Better communication between Jasons and the Operator is a must.
Would recommend the property to others with a few caveats.
Mr. White, Thank you for your review of Great Lake Holiday Park. Jasons and ourselves have been corresponding to rectify pricing situation, and their new system will be up and running in October. We are very apologetic regards our leaking iron as we had no idea there was a problem with it. If only you had come to reception at the time, we could certainly have given you another iron to use. This has been replaced. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
