Overview

Baywater Motor Inn offers motel accommodation on the shores of Lake Taupo. Accommodation consists of 12 motel units that have lake views including 6 studio, sleep 2; 4x1 bedroom, sleep 2-5; 2 executive suites, sleep 2, with king size beds.

Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, shower, large inroom spa bath, hair dryer, phone, internet access, 4-channel Sky Digital TV, electric blankets, heating, individually controlled air-conditioning, double glazed windows, iron/ironing board and balcony. Other facilities include laundry facilities by arrangement, heated outdoor pool and cooked/continental breakfast available delivered to unit.

Baywater Motor Inn is situated in a waterfront location on Lake Terrace and is a 100m to restaurants and 1km from town centre. Taupo is at the centre of New Zealand's volcanic plateau and the area contains numerous geysers, mud pools, and hot mineral springs.

    We were pleased to find a clean , tidy room .

    We settled in well , our kids loved the spa pool and everything started well .

    Unfortunately we were kept awake by the rowdy family in the room above us , who didn't go quiet until 12.30 pm , and consequently woke up our 3 year old who couldn't go back to sleep until 3am .

    There is NO sound proofing between floors .

    This place has potential provided you have considerate neighbours .
