An older motel which has been updated. Bathroom rather old. Functional kitchen with stove. Good size room. Very friendly hosts.
The unit we stayed in was good, not the absolute latest in fittings, but it had a full kitchen, everything worked well and most importantly of all, it was spotlessly clean. Helpful friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed two nights in a twin unit with one double bed and one single bed. What a lovely welcome from the proprietors complete with home made biscuits. The room was large by motel standards with a complete separate kitchen including stove , microwave and fridge. Separate dining table and plenty of chairs. separate bathroom and toilet, not all in one like some motels where you get that squeezed in feeling. We thoroughly enjoyed ourv stay here and would do so again. Only a couple of minutes walk from town and just across the road is a mcdonalds a servicer station and a new world supermarket.
If you want a beautiful home cooked breakfast you can't go past Kellys absolutely delicious from start to finish. Although we had our own full kitchen to cook in
We booked three units for the family for two nights and it was a very enjoyable stay, conveniently located right in town.
The rooms are exceptionally clean and the hosts are very welcoming.

In defence of this property the rooms are very clean and the host is charming, but make sure you are very chummy with the people in your part, we were lucky as the other 2 adults were our sons but having the only soft seating 2 of in our bedroom and the only tv there also made for very close living. Couldn't even send them off out to see the sights as the only door was through our bedroom but what the heck life is always interesting, and for a nights stopover it did the job, mind you the very soft bed ( think i mean knackered mattress) meant for really cosy night
Such friendly, chatty people. Older style, but a lovely and clean motel. Handy to town, and Mcdonalds across the road.And you get welcomed with home made bikkies, how good is that? Good value dollar wise. Highly recommend it.
Though there are no 5 star resorts in town, Kelly's Motel is very good. The manager and his wife are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Great position by the river. Will certainly stay there again.
