Overview

Colleith Lodge is a luxury five star accommodation located in Tairua on the east coast of the Coromandel.

It is situated on 1 1/2 acres and is surrounded by native forest. Three guest rooms with expansive sea-views are available for hire. Guest facilities include lap pool, spa and patio areas. Complimentary drinks featuring local wines are available each evening.

The Coromandel Peninsula lies to the east of the Auckland shore and is notable for the hot water beach and Cathedral Cove. It is a geothermal beach with the hot water coming from underground thermal springs. The Alderman Islands off the Coromandel Coast is a protected reserve which hosts rare species such as the tuatara. Scuba diving and yachting are also popular activities in the region.
