Here is a quick guide for those of you planning to hit the slopes in New Zealand:

Mt Ruapehu - Whakapapa is located on the northern side of Mount Ruapehu in New Zealand's Tongariro National Park. It is one of the mountain's two commercial ski fields. The other is Turoa, located on the mountain's south-western slopes.

Mt Ruapehu - Turoa is a large ski field on the south western side of Mount Ruapehu, the highest mountain in the North Island of New Zealand, in Tongariro National Park. The area has been used for skiing before the completion of the Mountain Road, with the first lifts opening in 1978.

Coronet Peak is a commercial ski field in
Otago, New Zealand located 18 kilometres to the northeast of the town of
Queenstown and seven kilometres west of Arrowtown. A popular ski resort, Coronet Peak offers a long snow season, excellent skiing and snowboarding terrain and lift systems.
