Overview

ZORB Rotorua is the iconic New Zealand adventure activity that has been operating for over 15years. It is a must-do adventure activity when visiting Rotorua and is the only ZORB site in New Zealand. We have two different ride options - the ZYDRO ( our wet ride) & the ZORBIT ( our dry ride); four tracks to choose from (including the world famous Zig-Zag track and the BRAND NEW Drop track); and eight ride combinations to try – there is something for everyone! Our ZYDRO ride is described as a cross between a waterslide and a rollercoaster. You are free inside our ZORB globe with a few litres of water (warm in Winter, cool in Summer) creating a slippery surface that will have you slipping, sliding and spinning your way down our hill (you don't tumble in this ride). You can ride by yourself down one of three tracks - the straight, zig-zag or Drop tracks - or ride with up to two friends down our straight track. Its our most popular ride but you will need a change of clothes as you get soaking wet! Our ZORBIT ride is known as our 'Astronaut in Training' ride. You are securely harnessed inside our ZORB globe in our specially designed safety harness. We send you down the hill, tumbling head-over-heels with the awesome feeling of weightlessnes and G-force as the globe rolls down the hill. This ride is available down our straight track only, however, you can try one of the different ride variations - Straight, the Aeroplane (sideways), or Backwards - for something unique. You can only do the ZORBIT by yourself (one person). ZORB Rotorua has four different tracks to choose from including our two 'Fast Lanes' (straight tracks); our world-famous Zig-Zag track; and our BRAND NEW track called The Drop. Each track is completely different and is an experience in itself. The Drop is our most extreme track, followed by the Zig-Zag track, and close behind is the Fast Lanes (straight tracks) meaning there is something for everyone! Every customer who comes to ZORB Rotorua and goes for a roll down our hill receives a FREE PHOTO which is uploaded directly to your Facebook account for your friends and family to see. We also have in-ride video available meaning you can film yourself roll down our hill from inside our ZORB globes (in both the ZYDRO and ZORBIT rides). There is plenty of parking available for cars, vans, campervans and coaches/buses. Changing facilities are available on-site, and we have a fantastic viewing deck so you can watch your mates roll down the hill!

    "The Kids loved it!!!" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

    Our two boys loved this. It was freezing cold outside but the boys did not care. A warning though....once is never enough!!!!! Book more than one ride a take advantage of the discounts. This photo disc was great too...we will definately be back.
