Overview

It takes a certain kind of person to step out of an aircraft at 15,000ft into thin air. It takes courage. The fact you are harnessed by space age materials to an experienced qualified Jumpmaster makes little difference. You step out of that aircraft door and for some 60 second you plummet towards the ground at 200kph. Terminal velocity.

The fact that your Jumpmaster will deploy the reinforced tandem canopy for you makes little difference. Nor the fact that it has been packed by a qualified parachute packer, nor the fact that you are equipped with a reserve chute with a cybernetic activation system will make any difference.

The impact on your life that the act you are now contemplating will have cannot be overstated. The personal challenge is immense, because the only thing preventing you from enjoying this, one of the most primal life shaping experiences, is your own mind. You must choose. To go through life able to say 'yes I did it' or go through life knowing that you had the opportunity, but you turned it down and walked away from becoming the complete person you could have been. Achievement doesn't come sweeter.

Operating since 1990, NZONE Skydive are celebrating over 20 years of skydiving in New Zealand, having jumped over 170,000 tandems to date. Jump in Queenstown or Rotorua, over some of the most scenic landscapes in the world! Plus, take your memories home with the most comprehensive photo pack in New Zealand! Packs contain CD of photos, DVD video, 25 printed photos, 8 personalised postcards, certificate and online access to upload photos on the internet.

Restrictions: Maximum weight limit is 100kg (220lbs). There are no age limits, although passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent.

Duration: Allow 3 hours for trip
You need to bring: Comfortable clothing, warm layers and secure footwear.
We will provide: All outer clothing and equipment
Transport: Courtesy transport provided from NZONE Skydive shop, 35 Shotover St, Queenstown.
We operate: Every day of the year (weather permitting) except Christmas day.
