  The property is nicely kept & well equipped except soap & shampoo ( not enough for more than two pax )

  "Great place to stay"

  From the time we arrived we were treated very well by the staff. Lee in particular was very helpful. Rooms and cooking facilities were excellent. Access to town within easy walking distance. Would thoroughly recommend.

  "Great location"

  Really lovely hosts-comfortable accomodation-wonderful views. Would recommend, however VERY noisy..although we did stay the weekend of rugby world cup final. In saying this, the walls seemed paper thin and the noises from people getting in their cars outside could be heard VERY clearly even when the windows and doors were closed. If you are a night owl yourself this will not worry you...so start booking, as Queenstown is amazing.

  "Labour Weekend in Queenstown"

  I stayed at the Lomond Lodge over labour weekend. I booked a balcony lake view room as a treat and the view did not fail to impress. The room was very clean and suited us well and the facilities were also great. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and can assist with any activity/car rental bookings.

  The location itself is ideal, a few minutes walk to the gondola and the town but far enough away to be quiet at night when the towns nightlife is buzzing.

  "Great location, great host, great place, SUPERB views!"

  Ask for one of the lake view rooms, they are well worth the (minor) extra cost and the view is absolutely stunning - and you can see it from your bed!

  Was lovely to breakfast on the balcony every morning, and the facilities were ample for our tea and cornflakes. The rest of the time we ate out, as you do in Queenstown.

  Staff very friendly, helpful and informative, able to give suggestions about activities both within and beyond Queenstown.

  Would definitely recommend.

  "Basic, very clean and staff were accomodating and very helpfull"

  Good accomodation for short stays. Our two bedroomed apartment was furnished very basically, but was spotlessly clean. The staff were always glad to help and were really friendly. Minor issue was not much hanging space in the second bedroom so had to keep most of our clothes in the case. As we were staying only for a long weekend this was not an issue. We would definitely stay at Lomond Lodge again.

  "Convenient, well equipped room"

  I appreciated the well equipped kitchenette facilities, comfortable bed and friendly staff at this property. It's conveniently located close to Queenstown shops and restaurants and the gondola, but fairly quiet.

  "excellent position, average accomodation, smelly entry"

  the location couldn't have been better - righ in town, ous, but very plain & brown! Shower door was incorrectly hung, had to stand in shower / bath to turn on!!

  The stair well & halls to the apartment stunk, really unpleasant like vomit, got worse each day. such a shame as that means we will probably look elsewhere next time.

  Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to log a review on the Off site Apartment . As you know the stairwell is a communal entry for both Residential tenants and the several holiday rental flats that are all on the same floor, hence we cannot affect that area as it is not specifically Lomond Lodge's property. As there are three restaurants downstairs on the street level of Shotover Street, (underneath the Bay Centre Apts) there are sometimes aroma's/smells which float in to the stair well area, but they dont smell of vomit, more of general cooking. The Apartments themselves are not affected, just the stairwell as it is unventilated.
