Overview
Smith Farms Holiday Park is set in a private rural setting between the Queen Charlotte and greater Pelorus Sounds in the Marlborough Sounds. The park has farm animals, glowworms, farm and bushwalks, and a waterfall. It is rated Qualmark Enviro Silver and Qualmark 4-star Holiday Park.
Accommodation options available include tent and power sites, standard cabins, self-contained units and park motels. Park amenities include communal camp kitchen/dining with microwave and fridge, freezer, toilet and shower facilities, laundry, linen hire, iron/ironing board, TV, barbecue, internet kiosk, fax, carwash, Dump station and MTB hire. Cot and highchair are available.
Tariff: 2 persons: standard cabin $60, extra adult $20, child 4-15yrs $7-10; self-contained unit $110, extra adult $23, child 4-15yrs $10; motel $130, extra adult $20-$25, child $4-15yrs $12; tent site $16 per adult, child 4-15yrs $5; power site $18 per adult, child 4-15yrs $5; 3yrs and under free. Winter specials available. Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard and Eftpos.
Smith Farms Holiday Park is a Member of Holiday Accommodation Parks Association of New Zealand (HAPNZ). Runner-Up AA/HAPNZ Spirit of Hospitality Award 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011. Hosts are the owner/operators Chris & Barbara Faulls.
Smith Farms Holiday Park is central to all Sounds and Marlborough attractions including sea kayaking, wine tours, dolphin watching and 4km from the Anakiwa end of Queen Charlotte Track and Waikakaho Walkway.
The Marlborough Sounds is made up of some 4000km of sounds, islands and peninsulas at the tip of the South Island.
