Chalet Chevron stands proudly on the slopes of Parnell, in the knowledge that she is one of New Zealand's oldest private bed and breakfast hotels, at home in New Zealand's first and most vibrant neighbourhood.

To stroll down Parnell Road is to indulge your senses. This special precinct is abuzz with an amazing selection of restaurants cafes and bars - traditional, quirky or hip. For some of the best fish and chips you will ever taste to gourmet kiwi burgers and other gastronomic delights from New Zealaland and around the world - it's all here, as is New Zealand's highest concentration of art galleries side by side together with the best fashion designers and other fine New Zealand and imported products retailers and specialty shops.

Minutes away from the Chalet is the shopping mecca of Newmarket, the Auckland Museum and the Domain. Then a mere one and half kilometres away is the city centre itself where you can visit the Auckland Art Gallery, Maritime Museum, take a ferry to Devonport or Waiheke Island or try your luck at the Sky City Casino. The appropriately named Link Bus runs from Parnell Road to the city returning via colourful, eclectic, Ponsonby.

The Chalet offers a variety of single/twin/double/triple and family rooms each with ensuite bathroom. All tariff includes a delicious cooked breakfast and wireless internet is also available.
