  "Lovely spot"

  We stayed 3 nights and it rained while we were here. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cat was a delight to our 7 month old daughter. It was very basic accommodation, but well priced and private.

  "Well priced motel, with excellent service!"

  Went here with my wife for a few days. The owners were super nice, and very helpful. We had to check out one day earlier than planned, due to a long drive, and they were very accomodating.

  Good location, sea view, and comfortable rooms! Highly recommended!

  We had a very enjoyable stay.The motel was clean and very comfortable. We have two tall boys who managed to fit into the bunk room.We loved the privacy and the views.Judy and Pete were very welcoming and helpful,showing us how to get to lots of places in the area. We would happily recommend this motel to families.

  "BAY CABINZ Enjoyable Stay"

  We stayed only the one night but were impressed with the excellent condition of the cabin, its comfortable bed and pillows and the facilites in general. The town's shopping centre and ferry jetties are only a few minutes walk away, all of which made our stay very enjoyable.

  "Queens Birthday Weekend, (June) at Bay Cabinz"

  Hosts very helpful and friendly. Property close to town but in a very peaceful setting with gardens and trees. Steep access with steps to most units. Our unit with a sea view was very private. The unit was very clean, fresh, and light, with a very good shower and bathroom area. Handy to all amenities and beach. Good heating, and plenty of clean linen. Ideal size for two people, but can sleep 4.

  We enjoyed our stay at Bay Cabinz, particularly their proximity yo restaurants and tourist attractions. The RSA across the road is very friendly and economical place to eat and drink

  "Five days in Paiha"

  A very comfortable, well equipped property in easy reach of the centre of Paiha but with superb views over the Bay. The owners were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The cabin was separate from its neighbous so there was good privacy.

  We stayed at the bay cabinz for 3 nights at the end of a 4 weeek touring holiday.

  We wanted a peacefull relaxing few days in the sun and thanks to the managers thats what we got. The cabinz were kept lovely and clean the owners were friendly knowledgeable and very helpfull and the on sight facililties were brilliant.

  An alround great place to stay!!

  On arrival pleasant helpful reception. Assisted with excursion bookings. Accomodation clean and comfortable and adequate for our requirements, booked for three nights initiallly and stayed an extra night to enable us to see everything we wanted to. A short walk to local amenities, bars and restaurants.

  these appartments were immaculate, the owners very friendly and helpful, close to beach and shops so no need for car. Great facilities for cooking outside, internet etc highly recommend

  "We were very happy to be there, it was great"

  It was the perfect location to finish our dream-new zealand-holidays. Beautyful! Me, my wife and the children were happy to stay there. If we once will come again back to NZ we would stay at Bay Cabinz Motel Paihia again. I hope we can do it a second time. Thank you very much.

  "A peaceful retreat in amongst the action at Paihia"

  We spent 3 days at Bay Cabinz and loved the chalet, the location (a few streets back from the main road in Paihia), the hosts, and the views.

  The chalets are clean and well appointed, and some (like ours) have a sea view. The beautiful bird life in the surrounding flora and fauna was a bonus.

  A great base from which to explore the Bay of Islands.

  I would, and have already, thoroughly recommended this accomodation to others.

  My husband and I went to Paihia to dive the Rainbow Warrior and found this place over the internet. Hard to tell from the pictures but Bay Cabinz is a very quaint place with a great view overlooking Paihia, walking distance to the central area and the owners are really nice. We only stayed here one night because our plans to sail the next day fell thru but will definitely stay here the next time we are back in Paihia.

  "Bay Cabinz Motel - the place to stay in Paihia"

  Great accommodation with full kitchen and private outside deck for dining. Quick walk to wharf and Paihia centre. Fantastic management who are eager to assist with all questions and to make the most of your stay. The cabins are placed on a steep slope so there may be a bit of a walk.

  They have an extensive range of DVD's to borrow for no charge and a very friendly cat called Smoochy who lounges around the pathways and loves attention. Would stay again!

  lovely owners very friendly & welcoming unit was very clean & comfortable & Belinda had put the heater on for us ! free intrernet access was wonderful excellent property with a great view - would stay there again
