Really great motel, within 1 min walk to beach pathway to town, which is about 5 min walk. Room nice size, lovely bathroom, and comfy bed. Our room had a patio so we could sit outside, even though motel is on main road, very little noise at night.Very friendly host and helpful with local info. Would definitley recommend.
Very dissapointed with accomodation. The room severley smelt of body odour from previous customers. Paid $140 and felt sick all night. Was told there was nothing that could be done. Thought I may have been offered another room. Nice room if it didn't smell bad.
It is always disappointing when a guest is not happy, but it is doubly disappointing when we would have resolved the matter had we been aware. The guest mentioned "a smell" after having been in the room for a while and the matter was addressed with an air freshener; thereafter there was no mention of any problem. Had we been made aware of a problem then we would have gladly moved the guest to a different room. Further, the guest left without checking out, and did NOT pay for the room. Although we do have Visa Debit card details, we do not think it appropriate to charge on this occasion.
We were very happy with the standard of cleanliness & facilities in the 1 bed apartment accommodation. We were greeted warmly & given an explaination about the apartment's facilities. My son was very happy to be so close to the beach and the shops were really close too. We would be very happy to stay again & highly recommend Waves. Thank you :-)

Spent a night at the WAVES last weekend, very tidy place at first glance and the studio room was so warm and cosy. If you looking for somewhere to get away for a night or 2 and just relax then this is the place. The beach is right there on your front door to go for a run or even a leisurely walk, cafe's/bar's only 2 mins down the road - neat little township has everything you need.
Service was good and just really laid back place. Go and stay for the weekend and find out for yourself - it really is a nice place.
Really enjoyed my stay for work purposes. Very comfortable, modern and perfect for 1. The spa was fabulous and the bed very comfortable. I have plans to revist every time I am in town. With the beah 30 seconds walk, why wouldn't I!!
The hoem away from home feel was perfect with modern paintings and colours.Just what you need when you spend more time in accomodation that at home!

Room was well looked after, nice facilities and a lovely spa bath.
Really liked that there was real coffee (plunger) and there was even a bread knife. No scimping on the kitchen utilities, much appreciated.
Our unit was at the road side, but traffic noise was not too bad and you could hear the waves when sitting outside. There is a small terrace with the room which surely would be appreciated in summer.
The only negative was that one side of the room is all glas, but no double glazing, causing major weeping of the windows. So much that it saturated the carpet at the windows and makes the room smell mouldy.
However the smell was only noticeable when entering the room, but not a problem when in the room for a while. In summer this would not be a problem, because the windows would stay dry..
The Motel is very close to the center and to the beach.
Great place to stay - close to the beach and a short stroll to town - recommend the scenic route along the beach front, absolutely stunning. Lovely rooms, with great care taken to comfort of guests. Friendly hosts with great customer service. Will definitely be staying again.
