Bay of Islands Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge that offers luxury lodge accommodation in Opua, Bay of Islands. It is an architecturally designed lodge committed to sustainable eco-tourism through sustainable environmental practices.
Lodge accommodation consists of 4 guest rooms. Guest room features include king size beds, cotton linen, cotton & feather pillows, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite bathroom with underfloor heating, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, hair dryer, tea and coffee, phone, TV, CD/DVD, wireless internet, iron/ironing board, private balconies, in-room safe and Continental/cooked breakfast. Other facilities include infinity plunge pool, surrounding sun deck and wood-burning fires.
Bay of Islands Lodge offers contemporary New Zealand cuisine with 3-4 course dinners and fine wine. Gourmet or picnic lunches are available on request.
Tariff: 2 persons: $450-$593 per night, extra person $50 and children over 12 years. Dinner $95 per person.
Bay of Islands Lodge is located in a private native bush reserve, with panoramic views over the Veronica Channel across to Russell in the Bay of Islands. The lodge is situated in Opua, and is a 4 minute drive to Paihia town. Russell is an historic town that was the first capital of New Zealand.
