Overview
We are a small, quiet, family owned park situated near the banks of the Waioeka river and a 200m walk to Opotiki town with cafes, restaurants and shops. 100m from our park is a wharf with a boat ramp. Bring your boat and travel on the river 1.5km to the sea for some superb fishing. Alternatively bring, or hire locally, a kayak and explore the river. Cycle or walk the beautiful new Motu cycle trails network which starts at the wharf and continues round the stopbank and across the new Pakowhai ki Otutaopuku bridge to Snell beach, where you can stop for a dip. Alternatively follow the easy Dunes trail, which leads on to the old Motu Coach road and Pakihi track (for the more experienced riders). You can always just stay on the site and enjoy a dip in our pool while the kids amuse themselves on our adventure playground.
Our accommodation comprises one park motel (with access facilities); self-contained units, kitchen cabins (linen available to hire); powered and non-powered sites. Park amenities include communal kitchen, dining room, TV lounge, laundry, internet kiosk and Wi-Fi available, swimming pool and playground.
