Ossies Motels & Chalets offer self-contained chalet/apartment accommodation in Ohakune. Accommodation consist of 14 self-contained units including 4 x 1 bedroom, sleep 5-6; 6 x 2 bedroom, sleep 6-8 with heat pumps/air-conditioning; and 4 x 5 bedroom, sleep 12-15, with kent fire.
Fully equipped kitchen with either stove and/or microwave, fridge/freezer, bathroom, lounge and dining room, TV, wireless internet, and laundry. All bedrooms upstairs with double bed and single bunk beds. Cot and highchair available. Either private or shared drying rooms, own lockable ski cupboards, onsite guest ski/snowboard hire, and mountain transport arranged. Other facilities include guest sauna, large off-street carpark and barbecue area. Squash and tennis courts on same street.
Tariff (ski season): 1 bedroom up to 6 $135/midweek or $195/weekend; 2 bedroom up to 6 $165/midweek or $220/weekend; 5 bedroom up to 13 $340/midweek or $465/weekend; midweek special 1 bedroom unit (2 people) 5 nights $410 (Sunday-Friday) excluding school holidays; heavily discounted summer rates 2 persons from $75; peak/seasonal rates may apply; in winter additional linen charge. Visa, MasterCard, Eftpos accepted.
Ossies Motels & Chalets is located in a quiet street, with mountain views. 17 km to Turoa Ski Area. Ohakune is a rural service town and a base for snow enthusiasts.
