Overview

Whilst travelling around the United Kingdom and Europe in 1994 we so enjoyed staying in Bed and Breakfast places and meeting and talking with the local people that we came home with a growing idea of one day being able to return the favour and offer other tourists the same helpful friendship.

It took until the end of 2003 before our new purpose-built cottage, situated on our Murray Grey Cattle Stud farm was ready to welcome guests. The cottage is surrounded by our cattle, the North Otago 18-hole golf course and 200 metres away, the Pacific Ocean.

We offer all the comforts of home with a modern kitchen, laundry and two bedrooms, one queen and one twin room. The living room has a sofabed allowing for up to six adults. The living area boasts a TV, video and DVD with a selection of DVD discs, all with New Zealand theme or connection. Air-conditioning and heat pumps keep the cottage at a comfortable temperature. Both the living area and the queen sized bedroom have sliding doors opening onto a deck which runs the full length of the cottage and faces out into the afternoon sun. Wonderful to relax with a coffee or wine, watching the setting sun after a round of golf or busy sightseeing, wandering around the Historic Precinct or a beach ramble.

Your stay with us is important to us and we are happy to suggest day trips and local attractions which we think will add to your enjoyment. Child policy: unfortunately no children under 13yrs.
