Great stay - very friendly and willing to get whatever we needed. About a 20 minute walk to downtown - 10 min walk to the park.
Up to date rooms, comfortable bed - enjoyed our stay very much.
Despite the image a "motor Lodge" suggests, Pukekura motor lodge is more in the realm of a 4 star accomodation.
We stayed in the King studio. The room and facilities were of a 4.5 to 5 star standard.
Peaceful, clean, new, extremely comfortable bed, sky tv. Bathroom is also 5 star.
Owner managers are very helpful with advice on where to go, where to eat etc.
Despite a busy weekend in New Plymouth (rugby), the owners made time to be helpful and friendly.
Definitely recommend to all.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed there in the last 3 months, and would stay again. It is very quiet, warm and modern accomodation. Very well priced for a single room, but do feel the double rooms abit pricey.
