Blue Haven Motel offers quiet and central motel accommodation in Mount Maunganui. Accommodation consists of 9 ground floor motel units that are serviced daily.

2 small studios with ensuite and kitchenette; 1 with access facilities; 2 large studios with ensuite, 1 with full kitchen other with kitchenette. 1 with access facilities, 2 with own patio and furniture; 5x1 bedroom, sleep 1-5 with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. Free wireless internet and Sky TV. Cot, highchair, hair dryer and DVD player available. Other facilities include barbecues, picnic tables, trampoline, and off-street parking. Cooked/continental breakfast available.

Tariff: 2 persons from $110-$155; extra person $15; corporate and group rates available. All major credit cards and Eftpos are accepted. Blue haven Motel is a member of MANZ.

It is walking distance to surf beach, RSA, Blake Park, supermarket shops and restaurants. Close to to Bayfair (3.5km), downtown Mount Maunganui, airport, golf courses, Cosmopolitan Club and Mount Action Centre. Mount Maunganui is a popular holiday destination and is nestled on a sandy peninsula between the Pilot Bay and the main Mount Maunganui beach.

    "Less than welcoming" This was given a review of 1 star (Poor)

    Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. However we arrived 53 mins later than our estimated time of arrival of 9pm and even though we had rung to say we were on our way the proprietor was very short with us and went on at length about our being late. A friendlier welcome would have been appreciated, we too had had a long day! Rating it low due to this.

    Thanks for review! We would have appreciated a call much earlier from the guests to say they would not be arriving til 10pm (as they were local) and we would have made arrangements to suit. We are a small motel and do not operate a 24hr service. Courtesy from both parties would have been better.
