Just spent a long weekend camping at Fernwood holiday park on a powered tent site, I believe this holiday park has new owners. I have to say that it was those little extra touches that impressed me right from the moment we checked in, from Judith one of the owners saying "help yourself to any of the vegetables and herbs from out of the garden". The kitchen area was certainly well equipped with fridge/freezes to keep your food cold and fresh, pots, pans, cutlery, cups and even glasses for that chilled drink after all the hard work putting up the tent on a hot sunny day! Extremely friendly staff also never to afraid to say hello and have a chat!
Ok so they have just taken over this site and have done a lot of work but still have a lot more work to do and good luck to them it is certainly one of the friendliest sites we have stayed at, we definitely will be going back to stay again, this holiday park had a very family friendly atmosphere!
