Classic kiwi motel
Good points are friendly motel owners and clean rooms
Cosy electric blankets on the bed and good heating
Tvs are tiny old and not particularly well tuned
Kitchenette is clean and serves the purpose
The biggest issue however is the noise
Fully laden trucks pass by all night long
Trains are not so frequent but still going by
And in the morning they sound their horn at the nearby level crossing
Need to do a bit of updating to be worth the tariff of 149 dollars
i had agreat time at oriellys motel i would recomend it to all my familly and friends.the managent was very hospitable and staff full marks to all. thank you. 5 ticks
Arrived very late 11.45pm host waiting left early next morning 5.00am. room was very comfortable.

We arrived in the middle of a downpour and were taken straight to our unit in this modern motel on the edge of town. It was spotlessly clean and the free WiFi was an unexpected bonus, as I can't remember it being mentioned on the website. If you are touring WiFi is becoming an increasingly essential part of the process.
As the following day was going to involve a lot of travelling we decided to have the cooked breakfast option and that turned out to be a very good decision. Excellent and set us up for the day ahead.
The owners were friendly and helpful and I am really pushed to find any negatives about the place.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this motel. Excellent.
Enjoyed our stay at O'Reilly's, the highlight was easily the neighbours cat who obviously checks out each unit on a daily basis, I believe all motels need a 'motel cat'.
The unit was tidy, the hosts were friendly and helpful, shame though about the sky tv channel not working). Would stay at this motel again happily.
