Set in the heart of the Martinborough vineyard area Margrain Vineyard offers a complete vineyard experience.

The 14 stylish villas and luxurious Pinot Suite offer a unique opportunity to stay amongst the vines on a vineyard dedicated to producing fine wines. Close to other world renowned Martinborough wineries, vineyards, restaurants and the village square the villas make an ideal base for your visit to the Wairarapa.

Tastefully decorated, each with its own individual style, the villas have been architecturally designed to create a feeling of warmth and old world charm while providing the conveniences expected of a first class establishment. Each studio villa features a queen/king size bed, a comfortable lounge area, a spacious ensuite and a private balcony overlooking the Huangarua River Valley to the mountains beyond. An in-room continental breakfast is provided to enjoy at your leisure. All villas are equipped with Sky TV, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, refrigerator, clock radio, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, electric heater and electric blankets. Microwaves are available on request.

Also available is the Pinot Suite which is spacious, inviting and luxurious or The Gatehouse located across the road from Margrain Vineyard Villas, next door to the Cellar Door and cafe. Set amongst a private garden and vineyard, the recently renovated Gatehouse offers four private rooms, each with their own entrance and ensuite.

Taste Vin is situated on our adjacent vineyard and provides our full range of exceptional wines and a local produce driven menu. Casual dining in the vines at its best.
