Kiwis Love Big Things

Big Things Throughout New Zealand
By Rob Phillips

As all Antipodeans know, Australia and New Zealand have a love of big things. Communities rally and enthusiasm builds until local craftsmen ask what the big deal is all about, and before you know it a new big thing is created that represents something unique about the area that lives in its shadow.

Now, if you really want to do big things right, I suggest you super-size yourselves for the occasion. Dress in gargantuan heels, monumental hats, humoungous handbags and only speak using academic-sized words, that way people will know you’re up to really big things.

Here's a list of big things you just can’t miss (no really, you can’t miss them— they’re huge!).
