  "Enjoyable stay"

  Tower Lodge Motel is an excellent place to stay. The very clean, recently refurbished rooms are well serviced during the stay. The rooms include a sitting area with comfortable sofa and lounge chairs, and the bonus of actually being able to see the television from this area, which is something you don't get everywhere.

  As a business stayer, the wireless internet access is very appreciated.

  Added to all this, Dawn and Ray offer exceptional hospitality and support.

  As a regular business traveller to Invercargill, Tower Lodge will now be my accommodation of choice.

  "Great stay in Invercargill"

  Our welcome was typical of our stay...just wonderful. We were given lots of information on the area, treated like family and our room was just so clean, spacious and new looking. It was a lovely stay and the hosts were just great. Nothing seemed a bother to them. Being so close to Queen's Park made the setting convenient for a stroll from the apartment and close to town. We would highly recommended it as a place to stay based on our experience.

  "Great stay during Rugby World Cup 2011"

  We had a wonderful stay in Tower Lodge Motel, while attending Scotland's game against Romania (which was a close call but a win is a win!!). Dawn and Ray were very friendly and helpful, letting us into our room early, giving us a lift to the pub before the game and recommending a place to eat in town. All in all, a very nice experience for our first stay in Invercargill, we will be back!

  "Good Stop-Over"

  We (2 adults 1 child) stayed for 1 night on our way to Stewart Island. Refurbished unit with the best shower water pressure (unit 1) you can get. What a great water massage that gave our tired backs!

  Fully equipped kitchen with freestanding stove, fridge, microwave, etc, etc. Everything we needed. Shower only in our unit, no bath. Compact unit, good furniture.

  Free DVD's on loan from the front office was great! So was the complimentary shuttle between Invercargill airport and the motel. (Book this in advance.)

  When you go to Invercargill, rent a car. It was very cold (July) and the supermarket was 2 blocks away - these were big blocks and walking them with bags of groceries and a tired 6-year old in tow was not fun. The main shopping area and CBD are too far to walk to and we did not conveniently spot any taxis. Given our short time in Invercargill we did not get there.

  "ABOVE EXCELLENT ALL ROUND"

  A HUGE Thankyou for the service by the very friendly Management! You made us feel very welcome and shared valuable tour/sightseeing suggestions and materials/brochures/fylers for things to see and do in the area.

  Continental Breakfast was lovely and prompt delivery to our room - Management are very accomadating!

  The room was beautiful, very clean, spacious and we very much enjoyed the spa!

  It was a wonderful way to start our honeymoon - thankyou again, for being part of such an amazing milestone; our honeymoon and you made it such a pleasure to stay!

  WE WILL BE BACK!! ;)

  "Great Stay at Tower Lodge"

  Check in was quick and easy and the owners very friendly and welcoming. Couldn't fault anything about Tower Lodge other than the wall heater in the lounge area was very noisy. We were quite close to the front of the property but there was no road noise at night. The unit was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend to friends.

  Excellent motel, just opposite the water tower and about 20 mins walk to Dee Street. We received a very friendly welcome and the motel was quiet and clean. If I return to Invercargill, I would definitely stay here again.

  "Our stay at Tower Motor Lodge in Invercargill"

  We had the lovely house - known as a bungalow to us from UK. It was everything we could hope for - well equipped, spacious, and warm. Planty of room to relax and a good location. We were made very welcome - good facilities and information. We found plenty to do in Invercargill - don't believe the guidebooks. Good places to eat - the recommendations we were given all proved to be good. Couldn't fault our stay - 3 ladies travelling together and the opinion of us all. Excellent and good value for money.

  "Tower Motel Great place to stay"

  We chose because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. There is a high standard of furnishings and the hosts could not be more helpful. The motel is next to the impressive Queens Park which has a fine aviary and museum. The hosts pointed us to the Hayes shop to see Burt Munro's motor cycle and they later lent us the video of the great film "Fastest Indian in the World" with the superb Anthony Hopkins.

  "Excellent in all respects"

  This was probably the nicest motel that we have ever stayed in. It had just been refurbished and we were fortunate to be upgraded to it for our stay of one night. The work had been beautifully done all fittings appeared to have been replaced. It contained everything that one would hope to find in a good class of unit.

  The welcome from the owners was everything that one could wish for - their attitude was pleasant and friendly.

  "Tower Lodge - Very nice place to stay."

  We recently stayed at the Tower Lodge in Invercargill, and found it to be a very nice motel to stay in and would definitely stay there again. The only thing we found to be a minor problem (if a king size bed could be a problem ) was that the size of the bed in the room made getting around it to the bathroom/ toilet a bit difficult as neither of us are particularly little, but for one night it was not a huge issue.

  "Tower Lodge Motel review"

  Hi,

  We stayed at the Tower Lodge MOtel at Invercargill, NZ a few weeks ago. It was great. It was clean, safe and tidy and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions and information about the town. I had booked online and that can always be tricky, however, I chose well.

  The delight being a free upgrade on my room to the deluxe one bedroom unit - really nice standard, everything you could ask for. Dawn's friendly and welcoming. We had a women's sport team staying there and the cottage units were very convenient and also good standard.
