Excellentt choice. Quiet from all noise in spite of the central location, walked to restaurants,shops and cinema. A well appointed spacious unit. Friendly helpful reception. Definetly choose again
My wife and I stayed at Te Mata Lodge for 4 days and were so pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the Lodge. The owners, Glenn and Pam, could not have been more helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious and set up beautifully. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were immaculate and the entire Lodge is beautifully maintained. In a month of touring New Zealand, this was clearly one of the two best hotels/motels/apartments we used. Great quiet location near downtown Havelock North, Te Mata Peak,Hawkes Bay wineries, a supermarket and lots of lovely restaurants. We looked at several lodges and motels in Havelock North and this was, by far, the nicest. We hope to reurn soon!
