Have stayed here many times over the years and it's still 1st choice as Gloucester House never lets us down..... not super flashy, but definately clean, comfortable, cheerful ,convenient & reasonably priced. The managers are very friendly and considerate.. going the extra mile. eg putting the heater & a light on when we were out for dinner and the weather was extremely cold and unpleasant. It was a much appreciated gesture.

A great value motel - much nicer inside than you can tell from the photos on the web and Just as every one else said, spotlessly clean and amazingly tidy too. Everything you need and could expect for this price at this busy time of year.
Very friendly owners and great to have the daily servicing and to come home to clean rooms and towels every day and even some dishes done and cleared away!
It is wonderful to have the pool by the units and to be able to watch the children play from the table and chairs which each room has outside the unit.
Only negative- we were staying during a heatwave and would have loved a fan to cool down at night but under normal weather conditions it would not have been an issue and you'd ceratinly expect to pay more to have air conditioning or a fan.

It's the first place I check on for accomodation when we travel to Hastings and I wouldn't go anywhere else if I can possible help it. Impeciable clean and tidy and a pleasure to stay.
This is the second time we have stayed at the Gloucester House Motel. We like that it is so close to Hastings shopping centre and supermarkets but it is so quiet! The rooms are comfy and spotlessly clean and we would happily recommend it to others.
Lovely friendly hosts who are knowledgeable about the local attractions.A clean, comfortable quiet motel unit. Walking distance to town and supermarket, as well as a great little bistro!
Very warm an welcoming. Great central location. Well equipped kitchen (if you're into that). Spacious units. Wireless internet being established at $5.00 per 50mb - signal weak (Aug 2010) but being actively improved. Excellent cooked breakfasts. Personally, I believe they are underpriced for both the units and breakfasts. Would definitely re-use their motel if visiting, or working in Hastings.
