Overview

Claremonte Motor Lodge offers luxury motor lodge accommodation with genuine kiwi hospitality in Hastings. Accommodation comprises of 19 spacious self-contained motel units and suites (17 ground floor, 2 upstairs) that are all serviced daily. 7 studio, sleep 2-3; 8x1 bedroom, sleep 2-3; 2x1 bedroom, sleep 2-4; 2x2 bedroom, sleep 2-7; 2 with access facilities and all designated non-smoking.

All 1&2 bedroom units and some studio units have full kitchen facilities. All have microwave, shower (single or double spa bath in all 1&2brm units), hair dryer, king/queen size beds, phone, complimentary wireless internet access, 6-channel Sky Digital TV, electric blankets, heating, iron/ironing board. 16 units come with air-conditioning. Cot and highchair available. Other facilities include cooked/continental breakfast available delivered to room, full room service, chargeback and delivery service available from local restaurants, complimentary morning newspaper, barbecue area with gas barbecue, guest laundry and off-street parking outside units. Complimentary use of swim gym complex located 300m from motel with lap pool, sauna and full gym facilities. Courtesy pick-up/drop-off by arrangement.

Tariff: 2 persons $135-$220 and additional person $20. Corporate rates available and peak/seasonal rates may apply. Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Amex, Farmlands Card, Bartercard and Eftpos accepted. Member of MANZ. Hosts are Kevin & Julie.

Claremonte Motor Lodge is centrally located in the heart of Hastings city centre. Hastings is located in the heart of the sunny Hawkes Bay region. The region is known for its fresh fruit, gourmet food and award winning wines, with more than 70 vineyards in the area.

    Lodge was close to main centre(by car), room was clean with clean lines and relaxing decor. Bathroom and shower good. Kitchenette facilities good. Free paper. Host was very helpful and welcoming. A good stay. I would stay again.

    Short stay but hosts friendly. They showed me to the room and TV, fridge etc all explained. With early departure was able to prearrnge this and make arrnagements for the key.

    They made an error with our booking, overlooking the twin beds we required rather than a double, But to their credit, they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom unit, for the same price. And they were fully booked!

    Everything spotlessly clean and very pleasant people.

    We'd go back.

    My wife and I recently stayed here, and I must say, our visit couldn't have been more enjoyable. Our host upgraded us to a room with air-conditioning, without us asking, as Hastings was experiencing a heat wave that day. Nice! The room was clean, with everything the traveller might need to be largely self-sufficient. The property was quiet, peaceful and well kept, but also very convenient to the town centre and a couple of nearby restaurants. Regretfully our stay was for business purposes, but we would definitely stay here again if a return visit to Hastings should happen.

    "Claremonte Motor Lodge review." This was given a review of 4 stars (Good)

    The booking was done online, was clear and easy to follow.

    The service was excellent. It was quiet.

    The unit was well appointed, clean and comfortable.There is real coffee and a plunger and good TV reception on a modern set.

    The only negative thing was the aircon mounted above the double bed. To lie on the bed and read with the aircon on was not possible, it blew cold air straight onto the bed.
