We were thrilled with the large room, also the large bathroom with two basins and spa bath. Very handy to everything.

I stayed for two nights and had a ground floor room with a queen and a single bed, which I had requested. The room was nice and clean, also the linen and towels. I ordered the Continental breakfast which was as good as any of the other motels I stayed in while in NZ. The staff were very good and I will gladly stay there again if in NZ.
As other visitors have stated, the room is clean, however the room is tired. I noticed some tradesmen were in replacing the carpet, hopefully each room gets a refit (especially since the ritz is 3 doors down the road, a similar price and built last year)
A very clean room and nicely appointed. Very handy to Cornwell Park and the Motorway. Easy to locate for an overseas visitor with some knowledge of Auckland.

Good: Well positioned close to everything, ample parking, spacious room and bathroom, reasonably quiet, light, airy, kind personnel.
Bad: A bit tired run down, lack of air-conditioning, pricey, slippery stairs.
Whenever we go to Auckland for a trade show or business trip we stay Royal Park Lodge. The owner Danny is super friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very spacious, clean, and good value for money (each room has a proper dining table & kitchenette). The location is great - next to Sierra cafe for our morning Latte & Chocolate Croisant - across the road from Countdown - 2 minutes to the motorway or ASB Showgrounds. We definitely recommend Royal Park
The rooms were large and well equipped. we appreciated the lounge chairs as well as dining chairs. Nice and clean, only complaint were the taps. They could do with new mixers and they were hard to operate. But very friendly and helpful and would definitely stay again.

The rooms & beds are comforatble and everything works as expected. The bathroom in room 8 & 11 is getting a bit tired and could do with a freshen up espically as the rooms are advertised as exective standard.
Big tidy rooms. Friendly owners. Close to ASB stadium, super market, cafe etc. Great place to stay!
