The Captain Cook Motor Lodge has a superb location at Gisborne's renowned Waikanae Beach. It's a great beach to learn to surf, swim, relax or to take long walks.... the sunsets over the bay have to be seen to be believed.

"Comfortable and friendly"

Value for money - we had a roomy 2-bedroom unit. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom modern. Very happy with this motel.

"Great place to stay"

We stayed for one night & were impressed by the clean, fresh unit. It was quiet & beds were very comfy. The hospitality & service was exceptional - friends needed a room at short notice complete with roller bed & the host went out of her way to ensure this could happen. Thanks for a great stay & we will be back!
