I was very happy with Beachfront Motel. Hosts went out of their way to provide the accommodation I requested - very nice to have private garden seating area at back and also table/chairs at the front. Very well situated across the road from the beach. I would recommend to anyone.
Arrived in Gisborne on 24/2/11 from a very wet Hawkes Bay! Received a very warm welcome from friendly staff. The 1 b/r unit occupied by two of us is clean and well equipped in a very pleasant location just over the road from a walkway access to Waikanae Beach. Two minutes drive or 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Recommended.
