An unexpectedly lovely place in Gisborne. The owners clearly take great pride in the place. We were upgraded to the Slipper Bath room which was lovely and really beyond expectations considering the reasonable price. The decor is stylish and original making it feel more like a boutique hotel than the standard kiwi motel that we had been expecting. The service was personal and friendly from the lovely hosts, who had no hesitation recommending somewhere for us to go for dinner.
Highly recommended, far exceeded expectations.
Fabulous accommodation everything was faultless and the owners extremely friendly and helpful we decided to stay another day and that was no bother the decor was fabulous everything so new. They really care about there customers.

Great place to stay, very clean and well maintained, owner very friendly. Had everything you would need as a couple. Loved the bathroom , very clean and lots of room, only no where to put your toilet bag.
Suggest that the fridge could be moved off the dinning table onto a table of its own.
Would stay there again.
Good location, nice clean property. Disappointed in the "kitchenette" it was so tiny. Stay alot around NZ and have to say this disappointing, really small fridge on top of the dining table and the microwave was down below bench, not easy to operate. For the price I think this lets the property down. If you onlywant to make a piece of toast and cup of tea it is fine.
This property has recently been tastefully renovated and is in pristine condition.
The bathroom is spacious with a large tiled shower and the kitchen well equipped.
The owners were very helpful and hospitable.
We had an excellent stay here and would recommend the property to anyone.
Lovely decor with tasteful nods to Maori art. Very friendly hosts. Modern comfortable units and the kids really appreciated a second tv in the bedroom.
