    "Disappointment" This was given a review of 2 stars (Below Expected)

    In all honesty I found the hotel to be a disappointment. The lift was out of action - a major refurb was in progress and yet I was still charged the full price.

    Thank you for staying with The Victoria Hotel Dunedin and I am very sorry to hear that you were disturbed by our renovation during your stay with us. We had included notices of the hotel renovation under the room description at the Jasons, but it may have been too small to read. The lift will be online at the end of August and this stage of the renovation will also be completed in the early September. Once again, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during our renovation and I am sure you will be able to tell the differences on your next time at our hotel.
