Overview

Depart historic French Akaroa, 90 minutes from Christchurch, aboard the Black Cat into scenic Akaroa Harbour. Discover and learn about rare Hector's dolphins, seals, penguins and more. See volcanic Cathedral Cove, relics of the area s past, and a salmon farm. Departs daily from the Main Wharf, Akaroa.

Swimming with dolphins is also available in sheltered Akaroa harbour, get up close and personal with New Zealand's Hector's Dolphin - the world's rarest and friendliest dolphin. Everything is provided, wetsuits, snorkels, goggles, hot showers and a hot chocolate!
