The Motel room was very nice, we booked a King Spa studio, super large, with all the accommodations you might want...really well equipped. Large sofa upon entry, plenty space for suitcases, a very large flat screen TV, DVD player, washer, dryer, great shower pressure, large bathroom, kitchenette, fridge, some coffees and tees (we didnt try bkfast as we left at 6 am and the service wasn't available) but all in all very nice room, comfortable beds, light switches everywhere, laundry basket, table with chairs, very spacious, great choice. HOWEVER...... when I called the oriental lady on the phone her English wasn't very good and she couldnt understand me....that was okay, we all deal with that. However....upon arrival, I rang the desk bell 3 times with no response, so I had to go behind the desk and knock on the door kind of loud, so the lady came down and apologized that she had not heard the bell. She showed up with a baby girl on her arms. For some reason the way the Reception looks and the image I got from the Reception person after calling and no answer, gave a different image to the Azena Motel than what I got from the rooms (which are great). That first impression sort of scared me....I thought hmmmm what place is this? When I said to her that I rang the bell three times, she said the bell does not work. (???) I later had to return to the Reception to report that TV wasn't getting signal and the same thing...nobody there...rang bell just in case they had changed battery...went behind the desk..., knocked on door and someone came. (TV issue was non important it worked fine). So when I was checking in with lady with baby on her arms, and she asked me to pay, I paid for my night and she gave me instructions of this and that and never gave me my room key. She was about to turn around and go back to her room or house (whatever is behind the door) and I had to ask for my room number and key...... That is just minor things, but that first impression counts when you go someplace for the first time. However, the rooms, are super. And the motel is across the road from a bunch of eating places and a supermarket half a block away....etc. We didnt go to town as that was a 1 night stay prior to flying out.
