Air Force Museum of New Zealand

New Zealand > South Island > Canterbury > Christchurch > Christchurch Family Attractions & Family Activities
You don’t have to be an aviation enthusiast to visit the Air Force Museum of New Zealand. It’s true that the more than 20 historic aircraft on display are stunning in their own right, but for many, it’s the personal stories and artefacts of the ‘people behind the planes’ – the men and women who have helped shape New Zealand’s military aviation journey – that make their visit so memorable. With interactive exhibitions and programmes, free behind the scenes tours, a flight simulator, and Museum Hunts to keep the little ones busy, there is something to engage everyone at the Air Force Museum. FREE admission - some additional activity charges may apply.
