The bed was very soft-which was not great. Otherwise, the place is clean and tidy and quiet. It was that close to go out and eat somewhere reasonable (except for Lone Star Pub Dining) and far away from breakfast options at the other end of Riccarton Road.
Our non smoking unit absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke, particularly the main bedroom. At first opportunity we discussed with managerment who acknowledged they had had a problem but all bedding etc had been cleaned. We were not warned of this problem when we checked in and made the full payment as required. When we raised the issue there was no offer of a rebate nor were we offered another unit presumedly as the motels were full. We feel sorry for the owners that this happened but we are not happy that without warning our hard earned money was accepted in payment for a sub standard room - that is unfair. Aside from this, the unit was very nice but management should be questioning the unfairness of our deal.
From friendly staff (both at front desk and the cleaners) to a great room the stay was relaxing and wonderful. Will definitely be back!

Excellent pick up and delivery from airport and a wonderful two night stay we had. Nice and quiet and warm with plenty of hot water. Would recommend this Motel - We will be staying again.
