The owners were very friendly and accomodating. B&B is surrounded by a peaceful garden and the rooms were lovely. Hire the bikes to go around the nearby vineyards and drop into the cellar doors.

"high Praise!" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend it!! The room was beautiful, the breakfast delicious, the host full of information about the area. A real plus were the complimentary bikes for riding around the wine country. They were good bikes and we rode the beautiful countryside.

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience here.

This place is wonderful. The hosts are very kind, the rooms are so cute, and the hot tub was a perfect end to the day. The bikes were also a wonderful treat. So easy to bike around to all the wineries. Definitely best to leave the car, and get out on the bikes. Thanks for a great weekend!

"Feels like staying home" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

I cannot say anything else that people haven't already said. The perfect find for an amazing trip through the Malborough region. Dianne and Robert are wonderful hosts inviting us into their lovely home. Clean, comfortable, convenient and a peaceful heaven after enjoying all that Malborough has to offer. Staying here was like staying at friends, good friends that is!

Robert, Diane and Jasper, thanks for what was a fantastic trip added to by your wonderful kiwi hospitality.

"A Warm Welcome" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

Robert and Diane warmly welcome all guests into their home and cannot do enough to help you get the maximum out of your stay. Our bedroom was comfortably appointed with a lovely view over their beautiful English cottage garden. The en suite bathroom was spacious, with a wonderful shower and everything you needed. Towels were changed daily. The continental breakfast was huge, you could have as much as you wanted and included a vast array of Diane's home made preserves with most of the fruit having been grown in the garden. Guests could make themselves tea / coffee at any time. The living room, television area, kitchen, BBQ, deck and hot tub were all freely available to guests. Our hosts were certainly most generous in opening up the run of their home to their guests. Diane even ran a load of laundry through her machine for us and pegged it out for me so we did not have to wait in for the cycle to finish.

They were friendly, helpful and patient with all guests at all times although they must have answered the same questions repeatedly over the season.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them and would definitely return.

"Olde Mill House B&B is AMAZING" This was given a review of 3 stars (Average)

My partner and I stayed at the Olde MIll House B&B when we had a wedding to attend at a winery in the region. When we arrived, we were in a rush as our motorcycle adventure had taken us a bit longer than we had expected. The owners were amazing. They ushered us to our room so that we could shower and get ready and readied the ironing board for quick presses of wedding attire. We had arrived too late to ring for a cab, so the owners offered to drive us to the venue in their personal vehicles. Our room was incredibly clean yet welcoming. It was like staying at a lovely relative's home. Breakfast was delicious and our hostess would not allow us to make anything on our own b/c we were 'guests'. Heaps of different kinds of jams for toast and perfectly fresh fruit. The bathroom was spotless (I'm a stickler when it comes to tidy bathrooms) and much cleaner than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in. I would highly recommend the Olde Mill House to anyone who asked and will happily stay here again. (OH, the garden out front was magnificent!!) I would rate it a 5

"B&B and Wine Region Bike Ride" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

By far the best way to experience the Marlborough Wine Region is by Bike and with a friendly B&B like the Olde Mill House you need look no further. Perfectly situated in Blenheim (a five minute walk from the local pubs and supermarket), Diane & Robert are the perfect hosts (an extra thank you for picking us up and dropping us off at the train station).

Our room was well appointed with canopy bed and en-suite, own private deck and there is an outdoor spa and wi-fi access.

We hired a tandem bike which is an excellent way to explore the region, comfortably covering 7 cellar doors in the sunshine.

An absolute must for anyone visiting New Zealand.

Diane & Robert were wonderful hosts. Provided lots of input into things to do in the region. The breakfast table was a wonderful time to chat and learn more about New Zealand, and the Marlborough area in particular. Certainly would have The Olde Mill House on our list of places to stay when back in New Zealand.

Definitely recommend this B&B. Our room was clean and comfortable, with French door to patio and garden area....lovely! Hosts are friendly and gracious and made us feel very welcome in their home. This is an intimate B&B setting where you share the living areas with other guests and hosts, so if you are seeking a lot of "private space" this may not be the place for you. We enjoyed the company of other travelers and the owners made us feel at home, so for us, it was perfect! Enjoyed use of the bikes for afternoon trip to nearby cellar doors; very convenient and fun!

"excellent value" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

Their tandem bike we loaned for free was in good condition and came with 2 high visibility vests (safety) and 2 helmets (law) allowed us to have a wonderful excursion of the village. The bed is great, the bathroom more then adequate, and the room is just beautiful. Had a wonderful private evening in the spa in the garden using the bath robes provided (all complimentary). Internet (included) worked well for us, and the continental breakfast (included) was yummy and full of choices. Much better then a motel room especially when comparing $s paid. We strongly recommend this place with the lovely hosts.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Olde Mill. I had found it online, and booked for two nights. The couple who run it are very nice and helpful, and unsolicited volunteered that the bicycles were free for guests. Cycling around the wineries is a must. Nice facilities like hottub (for sore cycling bums), and use of kitchen.

We enjoyed being in Renwick rather than Blenheim. Renwick is smaller than Blenheim and close to several wonderful wineries. We rode bikes to two of them from the B & B. Our room was lovely, owners were friendly and helpful. The garden that surrounds the house was spectacular - a great place to sit with a glass of wine and read or talk.

"Bliss in Blenheim" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

Olde Mill House is THE place to stay in Renwick. Gorgeous room and en suite, Diane makes the most amazing home-made muesli and jams, and the hot tub is just the right temperature!

Free use of the bikes was a great bonus - their bikes are well maintained and easy to ride even for someone who isn't confident on bikes (me!). The roads around Renwick and the vineyards are dead flat, and there is a wide lane on the side of busier roads making it super safe for riding. Would TOTALLY recommend this place, and we'll be back there again for sure.

Lovely spot - very comfortable room. Could do with small TV and maybe tea/coffee making facilities in room.

For cost of one night felt that a cooked breakfast should of been offered without extra cost. Liked the idea of bike hire - very good facility.

    Friendly hosts.

We loved our stay at the Olde Mill House. Our room was comfortable, spotless and had so much character. The gardens on the property were gorgeous. We felt right at home. Breakfast was delicious. We had freshly grown fruit from the property which was a treat. The location is great too. There are about 20 wineries within a 5-10 minute drive. I would love to stay there again!

Centrally located for all Marlborough area wineries & very close to Blenheim airport. Spacious room and VERY comfortable bed. Excellent facilities with access to washing machine, kitchen, bbq, hot tub & bicycles to explore town. GREAT breakfasts, including made-to-order espresso coffee. Great information about everything to do and see in the area and Dianne & Robert will even book you in for dinner at a local restaurant and drive you there and back themselves. Couldn't have asked for anything else in our 3 night stay.

"Relax at Renwick" This was given a review of 5 stars (Excellent)

Olde Mill House B & B has the character and charm of 'olde' but is far from 'old and dusty.' The slight incline up the garden path lined in perfumed lavender is a welcome which promises a peaceful and friendly stay. The rooms and facilities are very clean and well maintained, the decor is designer and the hosts, Diane and Robert, offer an open house and garden to which they are genuinely passionate about. The morning refreshments were all laid out more lavishly than a lot of hotels I have stayed at and the breakfast banter from other guests makes a B & B stay more interesting than a sterile restaurant. Airport transfers are a free convenience to please the unvehicled traveller.

When we arrived at Blenheim railway station, she was waiting to pick us up. She was kind and cool.. This B&B was very nice and cozy. Everything was well prepared and her garden was very impressive. I can't forget the breakfast. she made various jams by herself from the fruits in her garden.

I have recently returned from a delightful holiday in New Zeland including two nights spent at the Olde Mill House with hosts Diane and Robert. We had the most pleasant stay possible. The rooms were spacious, pretty and spotless. The garden is a sight to behold with numerous fragrant rose bushes and many many other flowers. the garden has been designed so as to afford many little intriguing spots of privacy - sun and shade. I loved it. Our hosts Diane and Robert were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the free cycle hire (and the promise to come and fetch us if we got too tired!). The breakfasts were generous and Diane's homemade preserves were fantastic.

All in all a lovely part of our holiday.
