Lovely quiet place to relax and enjoy a rest from the big city. Close to the township and really enjoyed the unique A Frame design giving a separation from each other unit.

We found the property to be clean ( as we would expect) in a quiet location but close enough to town to be accessible. It had quite a bit of "character" including the second bedroom on a mezzanine floor and stood out from the usual square block approach. Service was pleasant and good. We would be quite happy to book again.

Our stay at the Viking Lodge was great the unit was very clean , and comfortable , the unit was fully equipped with all that we asked for , i would recommend it to everyone

I'm sorry you think our motel is old and tired and the layout inconvenient, you were originally booked into a more up to date unit, but, this didnt suit your requirements because it was only a two bedroom unit and you required 3 sleeping areas on the ground floor, as two of your party were elderly, and as we dont have any three bedroom units a sofa bed in the lounge was the only answer. On the up side though Thank you for recognizing our friendly helpful staff. This is appreciated.

Fairly central and easy to walk to local attractions & facilities in Arrowtown.
Still plenty of gold in Arrowtown - some in the river and most in the many shops that cater for visitors.
Can highly commend the local museum; it has a well-balanced collection on display with clear, interesting descriptions.
Also recommend you get a map of the town layout, we were often 'directionally-challenged' there.
Very comfortable stay. Our lodge was warm, comfortable and spacious, with everything we needed available.
Motel felt run down. Very small, basic shower, kitchen sink taps were loose and leaked. Upstairs double bed way too soft and old fashioned blankets (not wool).
It was clean however and everything worked (lovely and warm) plus proprietor very helpful when we needed to stay on due to bad weather and late flight departure.
Stayed here in April, rooms were clean and tidy, had everything we needed although pretty basic and quite small living space for 4 adults and 1 toddler. Beds were very comfortable although the adults sleeping upstairs in the mezanine were cold overnight (some units had heatpumps but ours did not). For the price this accommodation was overall pretty good.

Lovely, clean and comfortable. Nice to have some room to stretch out. Very quiet and no problems with any amenities. Short walk to shopping and eating on main street. Corner store just around the corner. Highly reccomend.

Tidy units on quiet back street within easy walking distance to shops. Each unit has a fridge & freezer (or fridge/freezer not just a fridge with icebox) and its own washing machine; good features if staying long enough to use them.

Good,nice to stay and really quite
The Viking Lodge was a fantastic, clean and spacious place to stay which our family of four thoroughally enjoyed. Had a great swimming pool and had everything necessary we needed for our 2 day stay, At great value for money compared to some of the other accomodation in queenstown and arrowtown, i recommend this place to families and anyone willing to spend some time in Arrowtown. Well done Viking Lodge, we will surely be back again.
